Produits naturels pour cheval avec diarrhée chronique!!!
Salut tout le monde,
j'ai besoin de votre aide!!!
Mon cheval a depuis 1 an la diarrhée de façon intermittente. C'est très frustrant. J'ai essayé la levure et un produit de cavalor "Bio quekchose", le nom m'echappe!
Le produit de cavalor a fonctionné pendant un mois et par la suite sa diarrhée est revenue.
Il ne maigrit pas de façon prononcé et son poil est brillant. Je ne vois pas de différence aux niveau de son énergie.
Cependant, il est tellement en diarrhée qu'il s'irrite les fesses. Du coup, il a le dedans des fesses roses et inflammées. Je lui mets de l'oxyde de zinc mais bon c difficile à contrôler puisque je ne peux pas aller à l'écurie à tous les jours.
J'ai déjà consulter un vet qui m'a dit d'essayer des produits naturels. Voilà où j'en suis, il y a beaucoup de compagnies et je ne sais pas à laquelle je dois faire confiance.
Avez vous des produits à me proposer?
Je suis perdue et tannée.

If your horse has had a problem for a year... it's time to get some tests done...
It may not be cheap but trying different cures may cost you more in the long run.
I personally would NOT give yogurt as horses do NOT digest dairy products well and it will itself cause diarhea...
You are better off buying a Probiotic supplement... I would suggest starting your horse on a multi-vitamin/
Make sure the hay you are giving your horse is of good quality... If it is moldy that could be causing the diarhea...
You should also make sure that your horse is getting proper amounts of electrolytes otherwise his body will not keep the water it needs...
Honestly, I am very surprised that a vet will tell you after a FULL year that tests are not worth it...I would look for a second or third opinion.
Imagine if a doctor told you to take Immodium or Pepto for a year without things fixing themselves... Come on... nobody would accept that if they were the one with chronic diarhea.
Having chronic diarhea is not pleasant... spend the $200 for blood tests to check vitamin and mineral levels and perhaps test his stool for parasites... Maybe have your hay tested for mold or mildew...
It will probably save you a lot of money that you will need to spend in order to "experiment" with all the different "remedies" out there. Things may be good for a week or two and then boom the diarhea comes back because you did not treat the reason behind the problem...

Je connais un cheval qui fait de l'intolérance a la mélasse... et il avait toujours la diarhée avant qu'on change sa moulé.
