Roman Lady Bug

Voilà un roman en anglais que j'ai commencer.(Et oui! C'était pour ça mes questions!). J'ai écrit un chapitre mais il n'est vraiment pas long.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and Sarah Parkingston was at Shining Star stables. They had just got a new horse and Sarah had been chosen to ride it first. Sarah was one of the best riders of Shining Star. She was a small girl with shoulder-length straight brown hair. She was looking at the horse she was going to ride this afternoon. It was called Emerald. Not because it was green, on the opposite, it was a beautiful Dark Bay Warmblood. Emerald was six years old and she was supposed to be a very good jumper. She was quite small for a Warmblood. She measured 1, 58 meters. Sarah thought that it was the most beautiful horse in the world. She couldn’t wait till the afternoon. The best thing to do before then was to go see her friend Molly who was, just like her, Horse crazy.
“Are you nervous,” asked Molly?
“A bit,” answered Sarah who was standing in front of Emerald’s stall with her saddle on her arms.
Emerald was waiting calmly in her stall. Sarah put the saddle on the floor and she entered the stall with a curry comb. She started to brush Emerald and Emerald didn’t move at all. When Sarah finished brushing her, she tacked her up and Emerald stayed still all the time. She brought her outside in the ring where the lesson was going to take place.
Emerald was wonderful! She cleared all the jumps easily and she listened to everything that Sarah asked her. She almost seemed to read in her mind. But strangely Sarah didn’t like her very much.
“You make the perfect team,” said molly who had just arrived beside Sarah.
“You think?,” answered Sarah.
Just then, somebody arrived.
“Can I talk to you,” she asked.
It was Mrs. Malkin the owner of the stable.
“Sure,” answered Sarah.
“I wanted to ask you if you wanted to take Emerald for the competitions. She seems to be a very good horse.”
Sarah didn’t know what to answer. She didn’t like Emerald very much but the horse she took for the competitions, Splash, wasn’t at her level anymore so she nodded.
“Perfect, than. You’ll be better off with her than with splash.”
Sarah wasn’t convinced on that point though.
